The Names of God Christian Foundations

Introduction

God reveals Himself in scripture to be a keeper of His promises, backing His promise with His power and His faithfulness. We can see from the account of Abram's encounter with God that God is faithful, trustworthy and able to uphold everything He has promised. We can also see the sovereignty and majesty of God as El Elyon, as He revealed Himself in the book of Daniel to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon.
